Website Scanner

What does this scanner do?
This free tool scans your website for two things:
1) Forms that handle login or payment information.
2) The installation of an SSL certificate. This determines whether your site will display warnings to visitors using the latest Google Chrome browser version.
Why should I scan my website?
You should scan your website to find out if it uses unsecure forms. If it does, Chrome 56--to be released in January 2017--will display a “not secure” message like this to visitors:
Scan
Scan your website to see if it passes Chrome’s new security checks. It’s free.
Enter your website URL

This takes less than 2 minutes.

Chrome approves, but you can improve your site’s SEO
Your site won’t be impacted by the Chrome 56 release, but consider getting an SSL certificate to boost your site’s Google ranking. An SSL certificate not only secures your site and visitor information with HTTPS, it also improves your site’s search results. With HTTPS, your site displays the lock icon and assures visitors the information they enter on your site--from credit card numbers to email addresses--is encrypted and safe. Today, not using HTTPS affects your site’s search engine ranking. In the future, not using HTTPS could result in your site being labeled not secure by Google.
